Year of Transfiguration

Making Jesus Visible

Year of Transfiguration

YEAR OF TRANSFIGURATION

NEVER SEEN NOR HEARD

God is about to flip this whole thing on its head. Get ready folks! 2019 is going to introduce us to a whole other level of the new thing God declares in Isaiah 43:19. We are going to see a radical change in lives and ministry on a scale we’ve never seen nor heard before. His Church is about to experience Matthew 17 where we read of the transfiguration of Jesus. Turn to God, because He will not strive with us forever. In John 10 Jesus tells His disciples about other sheep He will bring into His sheepfold.

ROGUE CHRISTIANS

Isaiah 43:20 tells us that wild animals like jackals and owls which are definitely not sheep, will honor Him. If we His people won’t get it right, we’ll get left. God wants us, but He doesn’t need us. God still has a remnant. In Luke 19 when the pharisees told Jesus to rebuke His disciples for praising Him, Jesus replied if they remain silent the stones will cry out. Beloved. Jesus wasn’t just replying to the pharisees but talking to His Church. God is going to raise up the last expected and least qualified. People who had hearts of stone and thought to never serve God are about to go Jesus on their world.

COCOON MINISTRIES

You are going to see ministries that have been in a cocoon go through their transfiguration this year, ministries that God has been developing right in the midst of the church. We are going to see backsliders come back to Jesus, but not alone. God is going to use these rogue Christians to reach their friends and bring them to the cross. Get ready to hear stones cry, because too much of the Church have stood by and remained silent, not preaching the good news, not warning others, and not even thanking God. In fact, Christ’s bride will go through a transfiguration.

A TRANSFIGURED CHURCH

In Matthew 17 when he saw Jesus transfigured and being visited by Moses and Elijah, Peter asked Jesus if he should make a tabernacle for each of them. Verse 5 states While he was still speaking, a bright cloud covered them, and a voice from the cloud said, “This is my Son, whom I love; with him I am well pleased. Listen to him!” While Jesus was walking back down the mountain He replied to Peter, “Get up.” Isn’t there a Peter in all of us? We have a mountain top experience and right away we want to build shrines? We keep making principles out of God’s move rather than God’s why. Jesus’ transfiguration wasn’t just for the healthy few on the mountain highs, but for the sick multitudes at the mountain lows.

TRANSFIGURED HOMES

I am so excited about how God is going to move in and through His Body. The Church will rise in the last neighborhoods anyone expected. Home churches will turn their focus to launching and sustaining church homes where there will be a greater emphasis on empowering heads of the homes to be the priest of their houses and families. Start getting deeper into God’s word mom and dad. Kids are coming home and they’re going to be hungry. THANK YOU JESUS!!!!!

A TRANSFIGURED YOU

I dare you to believe God this year for your transfiguration. Find your butterfly. Lol My excitement went through the roof while researching butterflies. Did you know these beautiful creatures go through 4 stages before becoming the winged masterpiece? The egg, larva or caterpillar, the pupa, and the metamorphosis. The first 2 stages take place right on the same leaf the egg is laid on. The mother carefully picks the leaves because it will provide everything the baby needs. Beloved, you were born on purpose. God put you right where you needed to be. I’m sorry for the struggles, but even those have a place in your transfiguration. During this season the baby eats the leaves the mother carefully selected to give birth on. Spend this season in His word. Even the 3rd stage of the butterfly’s life is spent around its host plant. You may not look like a butterfly right now but stay in God’s presence and let Him finish His work. The caterpillar does not move things around to become a butterfly. The transformation takes place from within. Early on in my walk God engraved Romans 12:1-2 into my heart. You can’t be a butterfly if you keep thinking like a caterpillar.  Grow in His word, prayer, fellowship, and cry out to God or the stones will. See you on the field, Butterfly. I wonder what a blind stone’s transfiguration is going to look like. HALLELUJAH JESUS!!!!!
